Estimator

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the success of our projects by overseeing all aspects of the estimating and pre-construction process.

Primary Responsibilities:

·  Preparing detailed and accurate project estimates

·  Developing and defining scopes of work

·  Drafting and managing client contracts and change orders

·  Managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing

·  Writing and issuing purchase orders

·  Overseeing material procurement and delivery coordination

Qualifications

·  Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and processes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performing various carpentry tasks while using company-supplied tools and equipment
  • Maintaining job site cleanliness and organization
  • Documenting daily activities
  • Maintaining jobsite materials as needed and coordinating with the project superintendent
  • Enforcing safety protocols
  • Maintaining company-supplied tools and equipment
  • Addressing on-site issues and collaborating with the project superintendent on solutions
  • Forwarding all client concerns to the project superintendent in a timely manner
  • Completing punch list or warranty items as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meet with the client and ensure jobsites are prepared for construction  
  • Open and close all projects daily  
  • Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents  
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization  
  • Coordinate county, city, and engineer inspections  
  • Coordinate subcontractor and in-house labor schedules with the project manager  
  • Document daily activities  
  • Procure materials as needed

  • Track hours for subcontractors

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in use of BuilderTrend project management software is recommended  
  • Able to build strong relationships with subcontractors and field labor  
  • Shows proven ability to supervise subcontractors and field labor  
  • Excels at organization, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting  
  • Minimum five years of project supervision experience  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Project Manager

We’re looking for the Best of the Best! Award-winning residential remodeling company, Lane Homes & Remodeling, is looking for a skilled, multi-talented individual for this Project Manager position. This person will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and serves as the representative for dealing with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, plan and manage schedules for all projects assigned  
  • Manage field crew and subcontractors’ schedules to ensure timely completion of projects  
  • Ensure all subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work and negotiate as necessary  
  • Maintain and update the construction schedules for assigned projects in BuilderTrend on a weekly basis  
  • Attend all pre-construction meetings for assigned projects  
  • Manage all aspects of the construction process  
  • Request labor support when needed and supervise their work  
  • Schedule all subcontractors  
  • Complete material takeoffs  
  • Manage projects to bring them in or under budget and on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards to ensure client satisfaction
